The length of a laser treatment may last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or more, depending on the size of area being treated. What does laser hair removal feel like?
*Laser hair removal gives the sensation of an elastic band flick or a small poke, but this only lasts a fraction of a second.
How many treatments will I need?
*Approximately 6 treatments are required, however this varies from person to person. Pigment in the hair (hair color) and personal tolerance play a role in the number of treatments required.
How often do I come for a treatment?
*Normally treatments on the body are spaced at 8 weeks a part. Treatments above the neck are 4-6 weeks apart.
How can I prepare for a laser treatment?
*The area to be treated must be shaven of all hair, but NOT waxed, plucked or threaded for at least 3-4 weeks prior. If desired a topical numbing cream called EMLA can be applied one hour prior to your treatment. EMLA is available for sale at Au Natural Medi Aesthetics.
